Apply NowEvery [date], as per your desired learning choice/course that you choose, we will host a meeting at [location] where you will learn about the topic of your choice. Every week, we will host sessions, followed with weekly coding projects & development, bi-weekly sponsored/non-sponsored hackathons, and monthly sponsored hackathons & events (these are the big ones!). We will also provide you with resources and materials to help you learn and grow in your coding journey.
Depending on your course level/experience, we will teach you how to explore different coding languages, recognize patterns, solve problems, and develop logical reasoning & processing skills. These skills will be key for your understanding of code and will be useful for preperation for coding-related events. Furthermore, we will teach you how to build projects, develop your own ideas, and create unique solutions to problems. We will be present to help you at every step of the way!
Experience & projects are major aspects that define who you are to a potential employer, individual, or organization in the IT field. At NP Hacks, we will teach you how to create meaningful and impactful projects that are eye-catching and how to market and sell these projects on your portfolios, resumes, etc.
NP Hacks does not promise you a career/job/internship during/fresh out of highschool. However, as the CS field becomes more and more competitive, experience is what will make you stand out. Using your learnt skills and projects, we will help you find potential places that are hiring and teach you how to apply for these internships (ranging from start-ups to big-tech companies!). We will also help you prepare for interviews and provide you with resources to help you succeed in your job search.
At the beginning of every school year (in fall), following our club introduction sessions, you can find applications posted on our socials, on this website, or in the school's morning announcements website. This application will NOT contain any coding questions. You will be required to fill out a form to let us know of your desired choice of program/course, grade, etc. If you are interested in an executive position, all applications for execs. will be posted at the end of each school year. This will require STRONG coding experience, skills & knowledge.
